Yes, he was here a few years ago as part of music concert tour, but he didn't explore the city, off course, for fear anybody would recognize him. But Justin Bieber is an adult now, he can do an undercover journey. Backpacking in Jakarta is recommended. What?! Undercover and recommended? What is he, a spy or what? And is it a recommendation to go to a terrorist country walking in the heat of the sun?
Well, I have personally never heard of such trouble that befalls those expatriates having been backpacking here related to terrorism. Everything is just fine. So will be Justin Bieber if he comes here in the near future.
So, what should I recommend him for recreation? Take Jakarta Package 3 Days? Day 01 : Jakarta Arrival visit Ancol, Sea World and Dufan, Day 02 : Visit Monas, Museum and Taman Mini Indonesia Indah Day 03 : Visit his fans! Noooooo!!! The latter would be no privacy, dude!

Well, if Justin Bieber would feel no comfortable to backpack around the city, how about some other more interesting places in the outskirts? Wanna explore more about the greater Jakarta to get familiar with the satellite cities around and their hustle and bustle? Or go out of town for more excitement? Be my guest!
If he has already checked on Google but not sure of where to go next as soon as he has arrived in Jakarta he may try my suggestion: Jalan Jaksa - the well-known one for backpackers and as recommended by many (this is for anyone with small budget)
"Small budget?!" Justin Bieber might yell and give his backpack away.
